JoJo Faces and JoJo Voices
Just to let you know, the Araki-JoJo site has released new, higher res versions of the pictures from the Part 3 Anime special spread. They also come with one extra face, so Polnareff gets to look like something other than super worried about something. He doesn’t get to look tough, mind you, but more than worried.

But that’s a little sparse for a post, so let’s talk about voice work. A new Tumblr has opened up celebrating aspiring English fan voices for JoJo’s. You’ve got the above, Gyro’s immortal smack talking, Dio on Jonathan from Over Heaven, and a few more. The place is super new, as in it opened about 3 days ago, so there’s not tons of content yet, but that book reading is very effective in selling how twisted Dio’s mind is.

I thought about this ever since I saw the spoilerific Bloody Stream.
Definitely Stardust Crusaders will be two cour, so will we get two fabulous 3D openings?
I can’t imagine them being able to fit even all the crucial scenes from the arc into a minute and a half. I hope the the first opening will be just all the cool introduction scenes for Iggy, Abdul, Polnareff, Kakyoin, Joseph and Jotaro. Toss in a few henchmen and Shadow Dio in the background/TV and we’re golden.
But the second opening is truly going to be a dark one, hopefully showing Dio being over the top and Kakyoin’s GHA style offensive in the spotlight, some Vanilla Ice here and there.
