If last episode had “some stuff,” this episode has no paucity of stuff. Any one of the pictures up there is a point of conversation or more. Mako using the scissor sword vs. King Tutankoori. Any one of the matches, honestly. The new uniforms. I’m particularly enamored with Nonon surfing. The Nudist Beach Tactical Pants Weapon System. Crab Monster Man. And that’s not even all of it. I’m holding some of these pictures back because they’ll give away the ending, and I don’t know that I should.

Because I’m having such a good time. At least I would hope so if I got to pilot a giant, golden crab robot. That it is a crab is probably a reference to the Dotonbori Giant Mechanical Crab.We’re in Osaka, you see.

Anyway, crab monster man gets to fight Satsuki at least somewhat, and the resident blind swordsman gets to continue eating shit. I do wonder how much Satsuki’s going to get to fight. It’ll depend on how much the party gets crashed. There’s a very brief few frames where some robots with Senketsu’s colors are running out of what looks like a warehouse, and Ryuko is obviously still around, so who’s going to ruin what?
