I Can 「オラオラ」 with My Feet Now!

I feel like all the recent posts have followed this pattern: Do you remember the collaboration between Converse and Bandai that gave us the JoJo hightops? Actually, more appropriately, do you remember the announced Jotaro Shoes? Well, it’s time to expand your shoe closet with a little product from Premium Bandai.

This is one of the most Jotaro things I’ve ever seen. The shoe is the classic blue, the top lace rings are stars, the back has the hand plate as a patch, the bottom of the shoes have Jotaro on one foot and Star Platinum on the other, it comes in that fancy box with them both, and if you look closely at the body of the shoe, it is patterned with 「オラ」 on any part that is blue except the laces and the toe cap. It’s a bit hard to see at a glance because they are the same color, but it’s clear on a good look.

The shoes are currently available for preorder from Premium Bandai and are going for ¥11,880. They come in sizes ranging from 22cm – 30cm, about a Ladies size 5 to a Mens size 15 in U.S. terms. You can even order it in a nice pink or green gift wrap for an extra ¥200. Be quick, though. The preorder period will close in one month on June 15th. The shoes are expected to launch in the latter third of December.

A Friendly Drink at Jujo on my New Jotaro Feet

There are a lot of JoJo themed things out there. I usually like to talk about toys, but let’s get away from the kids and have a night on the town with good food, good drink, and Polnareff all over the walls. There are plenty of JoJo themed bars, and getting to go to one is rare treat for those of us outside Japan or Korea. It does happen, though, and you can now get an inside peek at a one called Jujo courtesy of Dio Motherfucking Brando Tumblr. Each picture up there, in order of decoration, bathroom, and food links to the album it came from.

And while we’re on the subject of JoJo themed things, a new entry has been made in the JoJo Converse series. In conjunction with the new anime, it’s time for Jotaro to adorn your feet. It’s got the rich blue color from Jotaro’s traditional coat, a nice sound effect pattern, and Jotaro’s hand symbol on the heel. JoJo’s aside, it’s a very nice and stylish shoe. I particularly like dark blue colors, so these are particularly good looking. You can see more pictures of them over on animedads.

JoJo’s Converse Shoes Now Available for Preorder through Tower Records

I take it you remember the special Chuck Taylor style JoJo’s ALL STAR Converse shoes. I posted a bit ago about it, but I wasn’t able to give you a way to actually preorder them other than a listed phone number at the bottom of the Araki-JoJo post, meaning that you’d probably not get a chance to see them at all and would almost definitely miss out on the light up Stone Mask key chain that was going to be a preorder bonus.

Now you don’t have to worry about it as much because Tower Records is now selling the shoes themselves online. It has all the pictures from before and an individual page for each size, 22.0 cm through 29.0 cm. They’re all going for the same price of ¥10,290 ($102.84.) Remember that these are going to be a limited run, so this preorder period, running until June 20th, is likely your only chance to get them and the key chain. For you collector types, I would look into figuring out how to order from Tower.jp.

“My Special JoJo Shoes Make the Joestar Ultimate Secret Technique Twice as Effective!”

Converse in conjunction with Bandai is releasing a Phantom Blood themed shoe. It’s done in the Chuck Taylor All Star Hi style with the official mark. The shoes are patterned on the outside with “JO,” stone masks, hearts, and stars. The tongue has a leather patch embossed with “Phantom Blood.” The inside pattern is based on the diamond checker used for “Next Epsiode” title cards. And it all comes in this stylish box also using that diamond checker pattern but with tan and purple for that extra JoJo flair.

The shoes are expected to launch sometime in early December, but preorders will start on May 20th and last until June 20th. It may seem silly to preorder a shoe, especially because you may have to do it through an international phone number you can find on the product page linked in the previous paragraph, but this is going to be a limited production run. There are currently no plans for reproduction, so these are collectors item shoes.

Also, this stylish stone mask chain with red, light-up eyes comes as a preorder bonus

You can find the information phone number and a sizing metric on the official product page. The designs here are a sample, so there may be some changes in the future.
