PV? More Like PunV! … なんちゃって！ Shō Minazuchi P4A USH PV!

Shō: Your peaceful days are over because of the red fog? I haven’t the foggiest! Well of “corpse” I want to turn everyone into corpses! Just kidding! Hey. Come on. Laugh.
Shō: Oh, do I need a self-introduction? My name is “Sho Minazuki.” I’m the mastermind behind this incident. Welcome, everyone… To my world.
Shō: Well, you’ve been identified as welcome to this unidentified showtime! Just kidding!
Shō: I told you, right? I’m going to break everything. Things like bonds? Don’t make me laugh! I can smash those things with a single button!
Shō: Shut up shut up shut up! I’m going to break everything inside of you!
Narrator: The flawless dual sword-user! The law-breaking pun machine! Sho Minazuki!
Shō: What’s this about the power of bonds!? It’s just an excuse for weak guys to gather all together, right!?

You have a very normal anime bad guy quality in the “friends are bullshit” thing, Shō. That’s a little disappointing because I’d heard that this character was supposed to have some DIO in him. I didn’t see it in the PV, either in how he acts or the way he fights, so maybe it just didn’t come across.

Still, puns. I may have a kindred spirit in this guy.

Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold PV 1

Ohh. Yukari isn’t wearing a cravat. She’s just grown up into Phoenix Ranger Featherman Pink.

The first official PV since its kind of announcement around a month ago, Super Persona 4 Arena, now under the much more insane name of P4U: THe Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, has gotten a PV. You can see the game in action and how it seems to have gotten a greater overhaul than just adding in three new people. To me, the game just looks a little faster, and characters seem to have been updated with new moves for new combos. The HUD has changed a bit, and interestingly, some people seem to have different amounts of persona cards, Elizabeth has 6 while Shadow Labrys has 3, so they break at different rates and are more suited to characters that are more persona reliant  than others, Akihiko only has 2. Or maybe that mechanic is just different overall.

But the really eye catching thing, other than the title and the official website’s picture being Aigis suplexing Yu, is our new characters: the aforementioned Phoenix Ranger Featherman Pink, Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori who seems to be largely the same guy, and the new character who wandered into the wrong studio looking for a KH recording, Sho Minazuki. It’s his scar and the swords. The serrated at the bottom dual wielded katanas with little trigger guards. Yeah. He’s original, so it’s likely the game’s huge ass story mode will have some amount of focus on him.
